My Ipsy Glam Bag | March 2017

Today we’re going to be talking about what I got in my Ipsy glam bag this month, and what I think of all of the products! Everything that I got in my bag will be linked below, along with a link to sign up for Ipsy if you’re interested!

If you don’t know what Ipsy is, it’s a subscription service that will send you 5 sample sized beauty products for $10 per month. This is a great way to test out products to see how you like them before you spend money on the full size. When you sign up for Ipsy, you take a short quiz, and they’ll send you different products based on your preferences.

The first item in my bag this month was the Skone Cosmetics Luxe Pro blending brush. I love when Ipsy sends me brushes because you can just NEVER have enough of them. Every time I have received a brush, I’ve found some kind of use for it. Every brush does something different, so I am always excited to have one in my glam bag. This particular brush is great because it has long, soft, synthetic bristles, which are great for blending colors in the crease of your eye.

The second item in my glam bag was the Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist quick dry matte lip paint in the shade rosé. This is, by far, my favorite item in the bag this month. Everything from the formula to the shade is just beautiful. It goes on like a liquid lipstick, and has a very precise applicator, which makes application so much easier, in my personal opinion. It dries to a gorgeous matte finish, and it does not budge. I’ve eaten with this, drank out of a white coffee cup, and it does not transfer or come off. It pairs beautifully with a lip topper or a gloss as well. I would go as far as to say that I’d purchase the full size in multiple different shades.

The third item in my glam bag is the Doucce Freematic eyeshadow in the shade Marisa. It is a beautiful shimmery rose color, that looks nice across the entire eyelid for a pop of color. I am a little bit disappointed in the size of this particular product. While it performs well, it is about half the size of the eyeshadows that I normally receive in my Ipsy glam bag.

The fourth item in my glam bag is the Ladykin Affinitic Snail Cream. This is a really unique Korean product, and the snail packaging is absolutely adorable. At first, I was slightly grossed out because, YES, this actually contains real snail secretion in it, but once I did a little bit of research, I quickly found out that this particular ingredient is really great for your skin. According to the Ipsy website, the snail cream claims to “heal damaged skin, boost elasticity, and leave your complexion smooth and hydrated. Plus, this cream also protects from irritants and prevents water loss.” I really like this product, and it feels nice and hydrating on the skin. I’ve been really enjoying it before bed every night.

The final item in my glam bag is the Chella eyebrow highlighter pencil in the shade Ivory Lace. This product is so convenient. It has been a huge time saver for me, and I don’t have to mess with using a brush and concealer to clean up my brows. This simply draws right under your brows, and it has a beautiful brightening effect. I would absolutely repurchase this and continue to use it.

Overall, I was really pleased with my Ipsy glam bag this month. The bag itself was a really cute pink color, and it is quite tall when you unfold it, which will be great for traveling with larger products or brushes. Again, my favorite product was the Tarte lip paint because it was extremely long wearing, and I am obsessed with the color.
