My Ipsy Glam Bag | August 2017

Today we’re going to be talking about what I got in my Ipsy glam bag this month, and what I think of all of the products! Everything that I got in my bag will be linked below, along with a link to sign up for Ipsy if you’re interested!

If you don’t know what Ipsy is, it’s a subscription service that will send you 5 sample sized beauty products for $10 per month. This is a great way to test out products to see how you like them before you spend money on the full size. When you sign up for Ipsy, you take a short quiz, and they’ll send you different products based on your preferences.

The first item in my bag this month was the Glamour Dolls Romantic Rose Blending Brush. To me, this brush felt soft, but a little bit cheap. It blended ok, but it was nothing special. Definitely not my favorite brush in the entire world, but it did the job. It has a cute design, and I will probably continue to use it occasionally.

The second item in my glam bag was theBalm Cosmetics theBalm Voyage Vol. 2 Eyeshadow in the shade Kuwakaribisha. This shade comes in theBalm Voyage Vol. 2 palette. It is a beautiful shade to highlight the inner corner of your eye or your brow bone. I would even use this to highlight the high points of the face as well. It is soft and blendable, and I will definitely use it often.

The third item in my glam bag is the Seraphine Botanicals Liquid Coal Waterproof Liquid Liner. This is a really great liquid liner. It is VERY water resistant, and takes a good makeup remover to get it off, which in my opinion, is a great feature. Once it’s on, it will not budge. It was easy to apply with the felt tip applicator, the color is very bold and matte, and I will be using this often for a sharp winged liner!

The fourth item in my glam bag is the Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash Arresting Volume Mascara. I absolutely love this mascara. It has a very tiny wand, so it is extremely precise, gets really close to the lash line, and coats every lash well. I especially love this mascara because it makes applying mascara to the bottom lash line a breeze! Getting mascara samples always excites me, and this is no exception.

The final item in my glam bag is the Secret Key Nature Recipe Sheet Mask Duo. These are really refreshing and hydrating. I always love getting sheet masks, because I use them so often as a part of my skincare routine. Depending on how my skin feels, I will pop on a different type of sheet mask every few days. These two are great for when my skin feels dull and dehydrated.

Overall, I was not SUPER wow’d with my Ipsy glam bag this month, but there were a few products that did stand out to me. The bag itself was designed really cute, and I love the quote on it! My favorite product this month was definitely the Make Up Forever mascara because of how easy it was to use on the bottom lash line. I will get the most use out of the mascara for sure!
