Beauty At Its Sweetest

If you’ve never heard of Boxycharm, it is a monthly subscription box. The box is $21 per month, and guarantees you 4-5 full sized beauty products. Typically, the value of the box is well over $100 each month, making this an AMAZING deal. The theme of October’s box was “Spellbound.”

Value: $58.00

The first product I received in my box was the Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion. I was so excited when I found out we were receiving another Dr. Brandt product. I absolutely LOVE their skincare products, and this one is no exception. I struggle with textured skin and large pores, so this works absolute wonders for my skin. I really need something that will exfoliate and clean out my pores, and slough off any dead skin that may be on the surface. This does an amazing job, and feels so fresh and is not overly harsh on the skin. I will be using this a few times a week for sure!

Value: $20.00

The next product I received in my box was the Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in the shade Pillow Talk. I love the formula of these lip paints because they are super thin and comfortable to wear, they stay on all day, and they dry to a perfect matte finish. I’m not a huge fan of the shade I received because it’s a bit too orange for my skin tone, however this will look great on my mom, as her skin tone is a bit warmer than mine. It’s an awesome product, and gets two thumbs up!

Value: $5.00

The next product I received in my box was the Jonteblu Lip Liner Pencil in the shade Brown Sugar. I was really happy to receive this in the box because you can NEVER have too many lip liners! I go through them so fast, and it’s nice to have extra laying around. I love using lip liners to outline my lips, and to help keep my other lip products on longer. This one is in a great, spicy neutral shade, and it is perfect to pair with my fall nude lipsticks.

Value: $38.00

The next product I received in my box was the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in the shade Prosecco Pop. I just about died when I saw that this was going to be in the box. If you know me at all, you know that my all time favorite highlighter is Champagne Pop, which was created in collaboration with Jaclyn Hill. Prosecco Pop is Champagne Pop’s sister, and it is equally beautiful. While champagne pop fits my skin tone a bit better, and prosecco pop is a bit more golden yellow toned, it is absolutely beautiful and I will be using it often!

Value: $14.00

The next product I received in my box was the DLS Illusion Eyeshadow Crayon. This is an absolutely beautiful shimmery golden bronze color, and works great as an eye shadow base. It actually reminds me a lot of the Urban Decay primer potion in Sin, but in a crayon form. I will definitely get a lot of use out of this, as I tend to love using bases like this for shimmery eye shadows. Another win!

The total overall value of this box was about $135, which is amazing! This box was well worth the $21, and I think that Boxycharm knocked it out of the park with the October box, as always. I will definitely be using these products a lot this month, and I can’t wait to continue playing with these products! This month, I think I’ll get the most use out of the Becca highlighter, which is just absolutely stunning!. I can’t wait to see what November’s box holds!
