EMPTIES! WOULD I REPURCHASE? | NOVEMBER 2017

EMPTIES! WOULD I REPURCHASE? | NOVEMBER 2017

Over the past couple of months, I’ve used up quite a few products. I put together a few of them to share with you, and let you know my thoughts! Will I repurchase them or not? Let’s find out!

The Make-up Forever Ultra HD Microfinishing Powder was a new purchase for me. I had a sample of it from Sephora, and fell in love with it, so I bought the full size. This powder is so finely milled, and absolutely beautiful. It makes my skin look smoother than any other powder I’ve ever tried, and does a great job at filling in my large pores. It does have flash back in photos, but I typically with go over it with another colored powder, and it fixes that. It is priced at $36.00, and I truly think it’s high quality, and worth the price. Would I repurchase this again? Absolutely.

The NYX Pore Filler is an amazing dupe for the Benefit POREfessional primer that I love so very much. It is not quite as creamy as the Benefit primer, but it fills in pores just as nicely. This one does ball up a bit when you rub it in, so I do suggest patting it into the skin, rather than rubbing. Priced at $13.99, this product is so great, and genuinely compares to high end primers. Would I repurchase this again? Yes!

The Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray was in my last empties post, and here it is again. You already know my thoughts. This stuff is amazing for locking in your makeup, and I can’t live without it. This product is priced at $15 for the travel size, and $32 for the full size. It is worth every penny, and truly holds my makeup in place all day. Would I repurchase this again? Of course!

The Urban Decay Quick Fix Hydra-Charged Complexion Prep Priming Spray was another new product for me. I got the travel size to see if I really liked it, and I absolutely do. It’s great to use under your makeup, and primes the skin wonderfully. It leaves my face slightly tacky, which is great for helping my makeup stay on. This spray is $15 for the travel size, and $32 for the full size, just like the All Nighter spray. Would I repurchase this again? Currently, I’m trying out the TooFaced Hangover spray, so this one has been put on the back burner for now, but I did really like it, and would repurchase it again.

The Project Beauty Spray Set Go setting spray was something that I received in one of my Boxycharm boxes. While I loved that they sent a setting spray, because I go through them so often, I wasn’t in love with this one. They nozzle on this one sprays out like a spitting camel, and the formula just didn’t do it for me. I didn’t notice makeup longevity or anything really different or special about it. This is priced at $19, which is not a terrible price. Would I repurchase this again? No, I wouldn’t. I have so many other setting sprays that I enjoy more and that really hold my makeup in place.

The MAC Prep & Prime Fix + is a staple in every makeup lover’s collection, so it’s no surprise that I went through one of these babies. This is just such a beautiful spray that really hydrates the skin and keeps it looking fresh, and is also great for spraying your brush to make shimmer eye shadows pop. It smells amazing, and it’s just so dang refreshing. It does get a little spitty sometimes when you spray it, especially toward the end of the bottle. The one I got was travel sized because I needed to take it with me on vacation over the summer. The travel size is priced at $12 and the full size goes for $25. Would I repurchase this again? Forever. Once a MAC girl, always a MAC girl.

The Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb was a reward that I redeemed from Ipsy. This was a really nice moisturizer, since I do have oily skin, and some moisturizers are just too much for me. It did remind me a lot of the Neutrogena one that I love. I just wish this one was a TAD more hydrating. This guy is priced at $38 for the full size, which is typical for a higher end moisturizer. Would I repurchase this again? Probably not. I just like the Neutrogena one a little bit better, and it’s priced a lot lower.

The Tatcha Water Cream was a freebie that I got from Sephora with one of my orders. This was a really nice moisturizer as well, and very similar to the Belif Aqua Bomb and Neutrogena Hydro-Boost. I did really like this one, and thought it felt great on my skin, and wasn’t too much since I do get pretty oily. This is priced at $68 for the full size, and gosh is it expensive. Would I repurchase this again? Probably not. I do really love it, but I just can’t justify the price. Like I said, the Neutrogena one does just fine!

The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer is something that I never expected to love, but it turned out to be my favorite of all time. This primer is just so good. It smooths out my skin, fills in my pores, and feels so moisturizing and delicious. And here’s the best part. It’s so cheap! This is priced at $4.90, which is cheaper than any other primer I own, and this one blows them all away. Would I repurchase this again? Yes! I will be ordering multiples next time!

The Project Beauty Hairgurt Smoothing Yogurt Shampoo is just freaking amazing. I love everything abou this shampoo. This was another score from Boxycharm, and it smells so good. It truly smooths my hair, and the strawberry banana scent is to die for! This is priced at $10.00, which is a very reasonable price for such an awesome product. Would I repurchase this again? Absolutely!

The Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray I believe was another item from Boxycharm. This is a pretty nice dry shampoo actually. It absorbed my oils well, and did really help with the longevity of my hair. It left a bit of a white cast, but I don’t mind that so much.  This is priced at $25.00, which is not terrible. Would I repurchase this again? Probably not, because I have cheaper dry shampoos that work just as well.

The Dermadeli Rejuvenating Toner is the last empty item that I have. I think I got this one from Ipsy. I really wasn’t a fan of this though. It did feel ok on the skin, but the smell was such a turn off to me, that I wouldn’t use it again. This toner is priced at $24.99 for the full size, which is reasonable. Would I repurchase this again? No, only because I really just couldn’t stand the smell.

Let me know in the comments what empty products you’ve had recently!

Xo,

Kaylee
