If you’ve never heard of Boxycharm, it is a monthly subscription box. The box is $21 per month, and guarantees you 4-5 full sized beauty products. Typically, the value of the box is well over $100 each month, making this an AMAZING deal. The theme of November’s box was “Sweater Weather.”
The first product I received in my box was the Winky Lux Kitten palette. I was pretty excited when I opened this palette up and saw the gorgeous colors. The shimmers are beautiful swatched. The mattes are a bit chalky, and not as pigmented as I’d like them to be. They are a bit hard to blend as well. But the shimmers make this palette well worth it. I live, breathe, and die for the holographic shade in this palette! I see myself reaching for it often for the unique shimmer shades. They are unlike any others that I own.
The next product I received in my box was the Laqa & Co Cloud Lips Airy Matte Lipstick in the shade Storm. I love getting lip products in my box and thought this would be a great rich brown color for fall and winter. It actually translated to more of a berry toned red on the lips, and was quite patchy. I will say, it did feel very nice to wear, it was lightweight, and was a great base for a liquid lipstick.
The next product I received in my box was the Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray. I was so excited about this because I absolutely adore Cover FX’s products. This one did not disappoint. I go through setting sprays so quickly, so I always love getting them in Boxycharm. This particular one probably has the finest mist that I’ve ever seen on a setting spray. I love that it doesn’t squirt you in the face with a harsh spray, and that it just gently mists you. It is definitely illuminating, and a little sparkly even, which might turn some people off, but I love to glow!
The next product I received in my box was the KNC Beauty Collagen Lip Masks. You get three of them in the box, which is awesome! I have never tried a lip mask before, so this was really exciting. It is shaped like lips, which is super fun and silly to wear. It feels very hydrating and I did feel like it made a difference. I would definitely use these again!
The last product I received in my box was the Boxycharm X Luxie Quad Eye Travel Set Brushes. I absolutely love Luxie brushes, so I’m always thrilled to see them in my Boxycharm. You can never have too many brushes. I love that these are easy to travel with, and great essential eye brushes. Luxie brushes always have great quality, and these did not disappoint.
The total overall value of this box was about $120, which is amazing! This box was well worth the $21, and I think that Boxycharm knocked it out of the park with the November box, as always. I will definitely be using these products a lot this month, and I can’t wait to continue playing with them! This month, I think I’ll get the most use out of the Cover FX setting spray, which is just beautiful on the skin! I can’t wait to see what December’s box holds!
